Red Leaf Studio's workshop heaven...

A few years ago when a good friend asked me to shoot her wedding, I excitedly agreed and ran home in a panic. The first thing I did was google "wedding photography"... At the very top of my list was Red Leaf Studios... I clicked that link, and my life was forever changed... Fast forward to the present... I just returned from an information packed, but blissful, three day workshop with Red Leaf Studios in Victoria, B.C. Richard and Amy McDowell are a wonderful husband and wife team who's photos scream with romantic passion and are visually stunning... While in Victoria we did some shoots with the sweetest model, and traveled to Salt Springs Island for a day designed for the taste buds... All in all, it was beyond fabulous, and I've returned inspired, recharged and ready to take the next steps in seeing my business grow... Fun times ahead!! Enjoy...

Eden's {s} session...

I love this post for many reasons, but first and foremost is the sense of style this beautiful young woman has... Eden rocked my camera last night, and I've struggled to narrow down the pictures in her session... This is just the tip of the iceberg in Eden's awesomeness... Webb's lifestyle session...

A couple weeks ago I got a phone call from Jennifer asking about family photos, and she also wanted some cutie pic's of her main-squeeze and herself... As a gift for their 5 year anniversary... Hello awesome!!!... As we talked she commented that they were both in better shape now, than when they were married...I'm positive it's because they are both chasing their adorable boys around like crazy people!!! Jennifer and Tony, you have such a beautiful family and I wish you all the best in your adventures of raising such a rowdy crew ;) It was so much fun working with you! God bless and hugs...

Sieverkropp family's lifestyle session...

It's crazy when life brings you full circle, and you are taking pictures of your classmates and their children! Meet the Sieverkropp's .... A family that I've known all my life... I attended school with their daughters, and it was fun to catch up while shooting some photos. Their family has added a group of rowdy son-in-laws, and a grandson..... Yesterday I had the opportunity to run around and shoot a shy, but saucy little senior... By the end of the session she had her posing down to a routine, and I heard her sister give several..."that's cute" comments of approval... This past weekend I had the honor of shooting a couple that make me smile every time I think of them... sigh... Beth and Dustin cracked me up in the 105 degree weather, and made sweat look fabulous! I loved Beth's positive, bubbly attitude... At one point she said "I don't care about sweating, because I know the cutest girl here is sweating too..." Beth you rock! The heat didn't affect the excitement of the day, and you could tell how happy they were to be getting married. The day was complete with water misters, the bride and groom handcuffed, a dance-mixed first dance and fire dancers... Simply amazing!
