beautiful kayci's {s} session...

perfection takes time, and weather that cooperates... after rescheduling four times we finally had a day were there was no wind, rain or other bizarreness. believe me, we took advantage of it! kayci wanted pictures that captured her love for music, flowers, and all things feminine. she was so much fun to work with, and i'll spare you all the hilarious out-takes from her shoot. we had some good laughs, and nothing is easier than taking pictures of someone with an bubbly and goofy personality! kayci, thanks for letting me capture your senior pictures, and good luck in all your future adventures... 

senior jewelry competition...

recently we were contacted by harrison's diamonds and designs of ephrata to do a fun little 2010 senior jewelry shoot. for the promotion we took three seniors and photographed them in two different sets of jewelry. those pictures were then posted on harrison's facebook page for a friendly little competition. the senior model who's jewelry set/picture get's the most votes receives a $100 gift certificate... yeah, holy cow... we want $100's worth of new bling!! so if you have a spare moment and are a facebook junkie, check out this promotion and vote for your favorite senior!!!

pretty nat...

this shoot was just for fun, but we took full advantage of our models cuteness! i met natalie last year and instantly knew i had to get her in front of my camera... this young woman is more than physically beautiful, she is the whole package! she's the type of girl (if i have girls) that i hope and pray my daughters would be like... yep, she's that awesome! my favorite experience during our shoot was watching this tall shy girl, who blushed and responded "oh, please" with every compliment, turn into a confident posing machine. it was incredible! thanks nat for all your modeling expertise. i can't wait to work with you more!... hugs

"ryanda" + windmills = awesome....

part two...prepare to get windblown!
this is the second set of images we captured for amanda and ryan in their styled session. a styled session is where we (the fabulous photogs and our amazing clients) sit down and come up with a theme for our photo session. we start with learning how our clients met, fell in love and where they are currently. learn interests, hobbies and things they enjoy doing as a couple... and try to create a session that tells the couples story in a funky/fun kinda of way....

so for amanda and ryan we learned they were high school sweethearts, football stud meets dance team fox, prom royalty, he paints his shoes to match her outfits, she loves fashion, his second wife is his car, both are attending central washington university and planning of living happily ever after with their dog cali ...

with this info we decided to  theme our session around the beautiful windmills located miles from the school "ryanda" attends. we've been in love with these machines... f.o.r.e.v.e.r... and were so excited when they said yes! so in "part one of ryanda" we shot amanda in her prom dress in gigantic pieces of the windmills that were at a production site. in part two we headed up to the wild horse windfarm (stopping along the way to capture some cutie car shots) and had a little fun. these machines are massive and i totally recommend checking them out on a lazy sunny afternoon. we hope you enjoy this session as much as we did! thanks amanda and ryan for freezing your cute little buns off for us... you were fabulous! hugs.
