"ryanda" bring back prom...

part one...

we decided to break this shoot into two parts, mostly because these two can take a pretty picture and we had so much fun with them... amanda and ryan, officially labeled "ryanda", were the winners for the second styled shoot giveaway at the ephrata bridal soiree... when we started brainstorming ideas for this shoot we discovered this couple were high school sweethearts, a football captain who fell for a hottie dance team chick. their story included being prom royalty and three years later we asked amanda to jump back into her dress for a fun little shoot. who can resist a apple green prom dress?? so in theme with the session we shot "ryanda" in large pieces of the windmills you will see in part two. hope you enjoy. hugs...

oh my heavens....

a fellow photographer posted a link to Timeless Vixen Vintage, an etsy store that sells vintage gowns, and i almost died looking at all the beautiful dresses. unfortunately my idea of starting a collection was immediately shot down by my loving husband... time to get sneaky! brides... please buy one so we can take your beautiful pictures in it!!! happy monday...

i believe there were somewhere around 150 dress to choose from! insane!

"ryanda" teaser....

1 handsome boy + 1 smokin' girl + 1 sweet ride = 3 times the goodness... this is the second styled shoot and the winners of the ephrata bridal soiree winners... amanda and ryan were visual goodness. more coming soon! props to ryan who was soooo not ok with this pose ;) tehe

chelsea's {s} session...

i first met chelsea when she was probably 12 or 13-ish... she was trying out for club volleyball and i was helping run tryouts... the reason i remember her so vividly was because i tried to show her the volleyball skill they were being evaluated on, and it didn't go over too well...hahaha... i'm known for my weird sayings and goofy teaching techniques, and i'm pretty sure they set off chelsea's stranger danger alert that day... her face was priceless and i'll never forget it! ... fast forward a few years. ok, a little more than a few, and now this lovely young woman is heading off to college and i'm left wondering where the years went. she even supplied a couple special props... a mask she picked up when in Venice and her favorite tea cup. thank you chelsea for such a wonderful afternoon, and good luck in all your life's adventures! hugs.

cute country couple's styled session...

so this post is going to be a little long ... that's cause we love is couple, and can't get enough of their cuteness... julia and dustin were the winners of the drawing at the moses lake bridal show, and we were so excited to work with them.

these two met in high school. she was from the big city, and he was a country boy. it didn't take long for them to start dating, and after high school the city girl transplanted herself into the country. now after several years of dating and working together... they're gittin' hitched, and riding off into the sunset to live happily every after...

so after hearing their cute story we decided to create and intimate country styled picnic. we also tracked a game called "the farming game", which i'm sure is the original farmville, for a few fun pictures... very fitting for these two ;) ... julia and dustin, you guys were so fun to work with and we enjoyed every second with you! you are such troopers, and we wish you  love and happiness forever! huge hugs!!!

just a little goodness from yesterday, and we can't wait to show the rest. dustin and julia (justin is their celebrity couple name) were the winners of the moses lake bridal show give-away... a session styled by yours truly. we made everything from whoopie pies to streamers, and the session was absolutely dreamy...
