Time for tea....

As the wedding season for 2009 is winding down, I wanted to take a moment and thank all my wonderful brides by inviting them to a "dress-up" tea party at Brix and Stone in Epharta. Totally girly, and we had a blast! Oh heavens, our afternoon was filled with laughter and good times (not to mention tasty treats!)... All my brides were asked to bring a guest and to dress up in formal wedding attire. We had one super hot guest that fit back into her dress after 6 years and 2 children... Wowza, I hope I'm that lucky someday! It was fun to look at all the different dress styles, and some guests revamped their looks with new-flashy accessories. After tea we ran around town and took silly pictures. As the festivities wound down I noticed several groups of brides with their own cameras, running around the streets striking poses. Totally brought a smile to my face! There is something about being in your wedding dress that makes you want to become a supermodel! Here are just a few of the many shots from the day... Most of these images are not mine since I was busy being a social butterfly :) Thanks Staci and Erin!! I also want to take a moment to thank God for the many blessing in my life, my husband and family for their support and my brides for their trust in my creative vision. Thank you and SUPER HUGE hugs to all of you! To my brides... I feel blessed to have been your photographer, and I'm very excited to call you my friends! Hugs!

Incredible food thanks to my fabulous sister-in-law Tami!

We handed out awards for things like best groomsman cake, longest receiving line, best cake fight.... and the little handmade bride and groom's were the trophies... so cute!!
