merry christmas...

about dang time...

sooooo..... i've discovered that one of my major faults is my need for perfection. there are so many things i've accepted that won't be perfect like my crazy bangs, my shoe box, the laundry and the list goes on... but the one "perfection issue" i've yet to let go of is in my photography... good or bad, but recently i've discovered that there is a certain beauty in the imperfect moments... and so without further adieu.... we are live folks! check us out at www.spurbeckphotography.com! it's about dang time!

pretty nat...

this shoot was just for fun, but we took full advantage of our models cuteness! i met natalie last year and instantly knew i had to get her in front of my camera... this young woman is more than physically beautiful, she is the whole package! she's the type of girl (if i have girls) that i hope and pray my daughters would be like... yep, she's that awesome! my favorite experience during our shoot was watching this tall shy girl, who blushed and responded "oh, please" with every compliment, turn into a confident posing machine. it was incredible! thanks nat for all your modeling expertise. i can't wait to work with you more!... hugs

spring is in the air...

i dream of shoots like this...  romantic, vintage and dreamy... this is the direction i want to take my photography. here is just a taste of our little saturday afternoon styled shoot. so excited to share these beautiful images... pharron, i simply adore you! injoy...

batman brings on robin...

batman and robin, bonnie and clyde, sunny and cher, bert and ernie...yes you know them all, but why am i talking about them is probably the more important topic. well... they always say two heads are better then one and i agree it's better to have a sidekick. it certainly makes life way more fun! that's why staci and i have decided to team up and offer our clients a more expansive service.
staci is like working with sunshine... bright, full of energy and super charged... she has developed a brilliant eye for photography, and i'm constantly admiring her beautiful invitation designs. i'm extremely blessed to have the chance to do something i love with someone i love working with... sheesh, who knew that was possible. watch out world, here we come!
you may have noticed the changes to my blog 'look.'  staci, rockstar assistant and creative guru (she chose her own title), and i have been feverishly working on re-branding and getting things together for the moses lake bridal show on february 27th, which i think you all should come visit us.

baby, baby...

last week I got the news that this little man had decided to join us, and needed to get pictures taken... seems he knew it was winter outside and didn't want to come out into this cold and rainy world... sheesh, who can blame the little guy? I'd like to be somewhere warm too... you may remember the session with the belly and a pumpkin... well this is our little pumpkin, and my first babe of the new year. he was a beautiful baby! thanks V for cranking the heat in your house, I'm sure the heat bill will show it ;) hugs!

Veronica's {b} on the way...

This is Veronica's last pregnancy, so she says.... ;) This beautiful mom-to-be met me for a day of photographing her cute belly and her wonderful family. I really liked Veronica's idea of a maternity session with her family, because they are equally excited for this little {b}. Thanks Veronica and your family for spending an afternoon with me.
