last tuesday i took a spur of the moment trip to orange county to attend a workshop by the ever-fabulous jasmine star. typically i'm a huge planner, and would have passed on an email from photographer and sweet friend, kim kaylan, informing me that a seat had opened in the workshop. something inside me kept nagging that this opportunity was to good to pass up, and thank goodness i listened because this trip was exactly what i've been needing.
i've always been a huge fan of jasmine's work, writing voice and business savvy. she has the ability to capture her readers with words, flatter them in images and exceeds all their expectations. adding to her list of super powers is the ability to put on an incredible workshop while hopped up on sudafed. i walked away with so much information, new friends, inspiration and excitement about the job i adore. words cannot express my grattitude! thank you jasmine and jd (the amazing man behind the fabulous woman) for all your insight, willingness to share and your sparkling personalities! god bless!
during the workshop we had the chance to photograph joe and jihan cerda. besides both being gorgeous, jihan just had her second child six months ago! holy moly she's a hottie! jihan's makeup was done by vivian of all made up, and the stunning black calla lilly bouquet was by carissa of jl designs.
sorry jasmine for the horrible photo, please don't hate me... you're so intense ;) stay fabulous!
